UN Volunteer

EcoEZ has pioneered the manner in which natural resources are sustainably managed around the world and continues to prove its commitment to local communities and the environment through many external activities. One of significant importance was the International Volunteers Day on December 5th. To mark the occasion, especially in light of the recent World Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, a well-coordinated collaboration between EcoEZs SEASMART Program and the UNDP resulted in a successful Mangrove Planting and Conservation Event. Facilitated by the UN Volunteers, a team of 20 SEASMART volunteers, led by senior staff turned up to plant mangroves on Tatana Island.
