C'est l'un des fils de Tabu Ley Rochereau alias Seigneur Ley (musicien africain). Après avoir fait les premières parties de plusieurs rappeurs américains renommés: 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Nas, Method Man, Redman, il sort son premier album solo en mars 2007 sous le nom « À chaque frère » alors qu'il avait d'abord envisagé de le nommer « Négritude ». L'album comporte des featurings tels que Diam's, Kool Shen, S'Pi & Mike Génie. En 2007, il participe, en tant que professeur d'écriture, à l'émission de télé réalité musicale Popstars, sur M6, qui a vu gagner Sheryfa Luna.
